Barkley Estates is a beautiful upscale residential community on the Westbank of Jefferson Parish, in Harvey, Louisiana. 

A beautifully landscaped entrance and Community Park set the stage for the quality lifestyle offered by this planned development.  The whole area is surrounded by a linear park and green spaces with paths for walking and jogging.  

This residential community is the subject of protective covenants and building requirements intended to enhance the quality and appearance of the development and the quality of life within the community.

Barkley Estates has been designed to contain 416 lots when all Four Phases are developed.  Phase I consists of 115 lots, and Phase II consists of 136 lots.  Phases III and IV will be developed to the north and east and will contain, 70 lots and 95 lots.

In addition, there is a Community Association in place in which each lot owner will automatically become a member upon the purchase of a lot.  This Association will be responsible for the governance of the residential community, including administration and enforcement of the community's covenants and restrictions.  The principal purpose of the Association will be to promote quality and consistency of design and construction and protect and preserve the community's values and quality of life.
